About Me

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science, in the Department of Sociology at the University of Oxford. I completed my PhD in Sociology in May 2021 at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I was affiliated with the CU Population Center in the Institute of Behavioral Science. I am interested in the application of demographic techniques to answer questions about population health.

I grew in Grand Rapids, Michigan and completed my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Communication at the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of academia, I enjoy training for and racing marathons with my club team, practicing yoga, downhill skiing, hiking, and camping.
