About Me
I am a Senior Researcher in Social Demography at the University of Oxford in the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science, in the Departments of Population Health and Sociology, and an affiliate with the Sociology Group at Nuffield College. Previously, I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow (2023-2025) and a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher (2021-2023) at the University of Oxford. I completed my PhD in Sociology in May 2021 at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I was affiliated with the CU Population Center in the Institute of Behavioral Science.
I grew in Grand Rapids, Michigan and completed my undergraduate degrees at the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of the office, you're most likely to find me gardening, at the yoga studio, or cooking elaborate meals. Community outreach is also important to me, and I regularly dedicate time to volunteer at a community drop-in centre in Oxford (The Gatehouse).
